We are seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team, with a strong background in handling felony cases from start to finish. This role is ideal for an attorney who can step in with confidence, take ownership of cases, and deliver thoughtful, strategic representation.

Family Law Attorney

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing client consultations

  • Develop and execute legal strategies

  • Review and analyze discovery and pleadings

  • Draft motions and legal documents

  • Appear in city, village, and county courts

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas

  • Handle administrative and case-management responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

  • Active Illinois law license in good standing

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases

  • Professional demeanor and sound judgment

  • Reliable transportation (work includes suburban and rural courts)

  • Experience as a prosecutor is a plus, but not required
