Meet Alex Eckert Enyart, Criminal Defense Attorney at Hirsch Law Group. With over a decade of experience, Alex has practiced criminal defense, immigration, and election law throughout Southern Illinois. He is one of the only bilingual Spanish-speaking attorneys Downstate, with nearly twenty years of experience providing Spanish and English interpretation in courtrooms across the region.
Alex handles a wide range of criminal matters, including drug crimes, theft, DUI, traffic offenses, sex crimes, gun and weapons charges, and domestic violence cases. He previously served as a Legal Analyst for the Illinois State Senate and as an Assistant Public Defender for St. Clair and Jackson Counties, giving him valuable insight into both the legislative process and courtroom defense work.
