Meet Andrew Hanson, Criminal Defense Attorney at Hirsch Law Group. Andrew is a lifelong resident of Rockford, Illinois with over 23 years of experience practicing criminal law. He brings extensive knowledge and insight from working on both sides of the courtroom throughout his career.
Andrew has handled a wide range of criminal matters, including traffic offenses, misdemeanors, DUIs, and felony cases involving violent crimes and drug offenses. In addition to his work as a private defense attorney, he spent nearly 10 years as a prosecutor and served for many years as an Assistant Public Defender in Winnebago and Stephenson Counties. He has represented clients in courts across Northern Illinois.
