Professional Experience

Meet Nicholas Navarro, Criminal Defense Attorney at Hirsch Law Group. With more than a decade of legal experience, Nicholas has served as both an Assistant State’s Attorney and Assistant Public Defender in Illinois. He has prosecuted and defended cases ranging from traffic offenses and misdemeanors to DUIs, serious drug charges, and violent felonies. His experience on both sides of the courtroom gives him valuable insight into how the State builds and prosecutes criminal cases.

An experienced courtroom advocate, attorney Navarro has tried cases before judges and juries. He has also spent nearly a decade coaching law students for mock trial, teaching trial strategy, witness examination, evidentiary arguments, and courtroom advocacy.
