Meet Caelyn Deeb, Criminal Defense Attorney at Hirsch Law Group. With over 30 years of experience in criminal law, Caelyn has handled matters ranging from traffic offenses to first-degree murder cases. Her extensive background as both a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney provides her with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and the strategies needed to effectively advocate for her clients.
Caelyn began her legal career in the Tazewell County State’s Attorney’s Office and later served as Chief of the Criminal Division in the Macon County State’s Attorney’s Office. Throughout her career, she has gained substantial trial experience and has handled a wide range of criminal law matters, including asset forfeiture proceedings, orders of protection, search warrants, charging decisions, and advising law enforcement agencies. She has also taught law enforcement classes and played an integral role in the development of Tazewell County’s Drug Court and Mental Health Court programs, while serving as an ongoing team member in those specialty courts and Macon County’s Mental Health Court.
