Professional Experience

Linda Sanchez Ortega specializes in family-based immigration, humanitarian-based immigration, and removal defense. Prior to joining our team, Linda solidified herself as a skilled attorney at a prestigious immigration firm, where she also worked for several years as their EOIR manager, primarily working on removal defense cases before the Chicago Immigration Court.

During law school, Linda participated in her school’s immigration legal clinic and received three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Writing 3, Trial Advocacy 1, and ADR in the Workplace. Linda also volunteered at the Children’s Legal Center and Centro Romero, both non-profit organizations focused on providing free immigration legal services. Linda is an immigrant who personally navigated the complex U.S. immigration and persevered to become a first-generation attorney. In her free time, Linda enjoys running, painting, and traveling.
