On August 24, 2017 staff trial attorney COLIN QUINN COMMITO proceeded to a bench trial in the Rolling Meadows

District of the Cook County Criminal Court System.

Appearing before the Honorable Judge Samuel J. Betar III, Mr. Commito cross examined the arresting Chicago police officer, eliciting information that he was unable to identify the client and did not include an on-site identification of the client in the police report of the incident.

Mr. Commito also objected to hearsay testimony, which the Honorable Judge sustained.

The Honorable Judge Betar granted Mr. Commito’s motion for a directed verdict and the case was over.

The client was exonerated of all charges which included, but were not limited to, fleeing and eluding and driving on a suspended license.

Complete acquittal, case closed.
